I don't have a lot of time or patience, so there isnt a very wide variety of bands on this site. I have, however, written
a short bio on a few of my favorite bands. Also, there isn't a complete collection of lyrics, but only a few of my favorite
songs by each band.

I'm not pretending to be an expert at defining the differences between metal genres or anything, but i get so sick of
people talking about their favorite "heavy metal" bands, then they start talking about the band, and it's like a thrash metal
band or something. Or they act like they know what they're talking about when someone asks them what the difference between
heavy metal and hard rock is, then they start to explain it and they say something stupid like "heavy metal bands are satanic".
Now, I definately hate all those heavy metal 101 websites cause it's like poser heaven, but I think it's about time someone
just gave a general layout of the differences between the major genres. Hardly anyone does that. I've spent the last few days
surfing the web looking for some easy guide, but i can't find one. So, I've gone to websites for each of the categories posted
on here and written a layout for each. There are probably more types, and i know there are more categories within each of
these genres, but this is a start. If you are particularly interested in any of these genres, I would recommend that you take
some time to check it out.

I've added a religious section. It's not some tribute site to any god or anything, it's just little tidbits on
different religions. It has a broad range of religions. The things that I've written here don't necessarily reflect my opinions.
